Halodule is agenus of plants in thefamilyCymodoceaceae described as a genus in 1841.[2][3] It is widespread on tropical and semi-tropical ocean shores of all continents except Europe and Antarctica.[1][4][5][6][7]
Hybridization has been reported in the Pacific betweenH. pinifolia andH. uninervis.[8]
