Harold "Hal"Erickson (born 1950) is an Americanmedia historian who was a senior editor atAllRovi for 15 years starting in 1994 when it was known as "All Movies".[citation needed]

Biography

He received abachelor's degree in acting and directing from theUniversity of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and amaster's degree in theater history at theUniversity of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.[1] He has also written several books relating to the history of movies and television as well as many media articles forEncyclopædia Britannica. He lives inMilwaukee, Wisconsin.[2]
