Haddon is a suburb ofJohannesburg,South Africa. Located south of theCBD, it is located close to the larger suburb ofTurffontein. It is located in Region F of theCity of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality.
Prior to the discovery of gold on theWitwatersrand in 1886, the suburb lay on land on one of the original farms calledTurffontein.[2] It became a suburb on 26 March 1919.[2]
