Unincorporated community in Oklahoma, US

Gypsy is anunincorporated community inCreek County, in theU.S. state ofOklahoma.[1] It is about twelve miles south-southwest ofBristow.[2]

History

A post office called Gypsy was established in 1925, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1955.[3] Gypsy's local community took its name from theGypsy Oil Company.[4]
