Horse ridden by gods in Norse mythology

InNorse mythology,Gyllir (Old Norse:[ˈɡylːez̠]) is ahorse listed in bothGrímnismál andGylfaginning[1] among the steeds ridden by thegods each day when they go to make judgements atYggdrasil. However, in both poems, Gyllir is not assigned to any specific deity.

Gyllir is also found in thethulur as ajötunn name.[2]
