Guy Harley Oseary (Hebrew:גיא עוזרי; born October 3, 1972) is anIsraeli-Americantalent manager and writer. His clients includeMadonna,Amy Schumer and theRed Hot Chili Peppers, whom he has managed since 2021.[1][2]
Guy Oseary was born on October 3, 1972, inJerusalem, to aJewish family.[3] He was raised inCalifornia and attendedBeverly Hills High School.[4] Together since 2006, he married Brazilian modelMichelle Alves on October 24, 2017 atChrist the Redeemer inRio de Janeiro,Brazil. They have four children.[5][6]

Oseary began as an independent A&R rep in 1989 at the age of 17, he soon became one of the first employees of Madonna's Maverick record label in 1992.[7]
At the age of 19, Oseary joinedMaverick Records as anA&R executive, and then rose through the ranks to chairman, developing a roster of artists that includedThe Prodigy,Alanis Morissette,Deftones,The Wreckers,Paul Oakenfold,Michelle Branch,Summercamp, and soundtracks on such film series asAustin Powers,The Matrix, andKill Bill. Oseary guided Maverick to sell over 100 million albums worldwide and secured its spot as one of the music industry's leadingboutique labels.[citation needed]
As part ofMaverick Films, Oseary executive producedRob Zombie's first two ventures into feature filmmaking:House of 1000 Corpses andThe Devil's Rejects; and four films ofThe Twilight Saga:Twilight,New Moon,Eclipse,Breaking Dawn – Part 1. He also served as executive producer onNBC'sLast Call with Carson Daly andNew Year's Eve with Carson Daly.[8]
In May 2004, Oseary partnered with Jason Weinberg and Stephanie Simon to become a principal in Untitled Entertainment, a management company with offices inBeverly Hills andNew York City. In 2005, Oseary became the manager for his longtime business partnerMadonna. HerConfessions Tour (2006),Sticky & Sweet Tour (2008–09), andThe MDNA Tour (2012), were among thehighest-grossing concert tours of all time. He won Top Manager at theBillboard Touring Awards in 2006 and 2009.[9][10] In 2007, Oseary negotiated a360 deal partnering Madonna withLive Nation worth $120 million.[11] On November 12, 2013, it was announced that Oseary would be replacingPaul McGuinness as manager ofU2 in a $30 million deal which would see Live Nation buy both Maverick and U2's management company Principle Management. McGuinness was quoted as saying "I have long regarded Guy Oseary as the best manager of his generation, and there is no one else I would have considered to take over the day-to-day running of our business."[12] He managed U2 until 2022.[13] He began managing the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 2021.[14]
In March 2020, Oseary stepped down from his role at Maverick.[15] In October 2020, he co-foundedPearpop with Cole Mason.[16]
In October 2021, Oseary signed Yuga Labs, the creators of theBored Ape Yacht Club NFT project for representation.[17]

Oseary has written four books, including a book onJewish influences in the music industry titledJews Who Rock. His second book,On the Record, is a collection of first-hand accounts on how to break into the music industry from successful artists, producers, and executives.[18] He also wrote twocoffee table books with his own photography ofMadonna's2006 and2008–09 tours respectively titledMadonna: Confessions andMadonna: Sticky & Sweet.[19][20]
Oseary, along withAshton Kutcher andRonald Burkle, is a co-founder atA-Grade Investments, a venture capital firm that has made numerous investments in companies such asAirbnb,Foursquare,Shazam,SoundCloud,Spotify, andUber.[21] He co-founded Sound Ventures with Ashton Kutcher three years later to focus on sectors ranging from micro-mobility and insurance tofintech andmedtech.[22]
In 2010, Madonna and Oseary founded gym chainHard Candy Fitness. They also partnered withIconix Brand Group to launch the lifestyle brand "Truth or Dare by Madonna."[citation needed]
Oseary appears in cameos in movies such asCharlie's Angels,Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, andYou Don't Mess with the Zohan.[8] He also made a cameo in Madonna's 1992 music video for her single "Deeper and Deeper."
In January 2024 it was announced thatScar Tissue, the autobiography ofAnthony Kiedis, singer for theRed Hot Chili Peppers, will be turned into a theatrical movie with Oseary, Kiedis andBrian Grazer producing the film forUniversal Pictures.[23]
In honor of his 46th birthday, Oseary launched Good Today (previously Good St.), a non-profit giving platform.[24]
