Gustavo Ernesto Huerta Araya (born 15 October 1957) is aChilean formerfootballer andmanager. He is currently the head coach ofCobresal.[2]
Before the1998 FIFA World Cup, Huerta was the assistant of the Head Coach ofChile,Nelson Acosta. He managedChile B in afriendly match againstEngland B on February 10, 1998. Chile won by 2–1.[3]
Both his father, Gustavo Sr., and his younger brothers, Fernando and Carlos, were professional footballers. All of them played forDeportes Ovalle among other clubs.[1] Also, his son Gustavo is asport journalist who has worked forTelevisión Nacional de Chile andESPN Chile.[4]
