Gustave Eiffel University (French:Université Gustave Eiffel) is apublic university located throughoutMetropolitan France.
The university's namesake isFrenchengineer,Gustave Eiffel.

Gustave Eiffel University was created by a French government decree,[4] and was founded on 1 January 2020.[5][6][4][7][8][9][10] It is the result of a merger of theÉcole d'Architecture Marne-la-Vallée, theÉcole des ingénieurs de la Ville de Paris, theÉcole Nationale des Sciences Géographiques, theÉcole Supérieure d'Ingénieurs en Électrotechnique et Électronique Paris, theFrench Institute of Science and Technology for Transport, Development and Networks, and the formerUniversity of Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée.[11] The merger was decided upon despite initial opposition[12][13] of unions representing UPEM workers.
Gustave Eiffel University offers bachelors, vocational bachelors, and masters degrees in many fields ranging fromarts andhumanities toSTEM.[3] The university also offersarchitecture,BTS,engineering diplomas.[14]
The university conducts significant research in relation tocivil engineering,geomatics,infrastructure,transport systems, andurban planning.[3]
