Gunnlaugur Jónsson (born 29 November 1974) is anIcelandicfootball manager who last managedÞróttur in the1. deild karla.
In his early career he played forÍA. After short spells withMotherwell,[1]Kongsvinger andÖrebro, he rejoined ÍA, and played there until 2005, except for a spell atKFC Uerdingen 05. He then played withKR before starting his managing career atSelfoss. At his first season, Selfoss were promoted toÚrvalsdeild. However, Gunnlaugur decided to switch teams, spending two seasons withValur, as well asKA for another two seasons. Gunnlaugur managedHK in the 2013 season, before once again returning to ÍA, from 2013 to 2017. He then dropped down a division to manageÞróttur for the 2018 season.
He was capped 12 times for theIcelandic national team.
