Guabonito is a ring of bright features onSaturn's moonTitan. Currently, the feature is thought to be a partially buriedimpact crater, with the bright features representing the crater's rim.[1]
Guabonito was first seen inCassini images taken in October 2004 and has been observed several times since.
Guabonito was observed by theCassiniradar instrument'ssynthetic aperture radar imaging mode on April 30, 2006.[2]
This ringed features, 90 kilometers across, is located in Titan'sShangri-La dark region, near the boundary withXanadu, and is centered at10°54′S150°48′W / 10.9°S 150.8°W /-10.9; -150.8.[3]
This feature is named after Guabonito, theTaíno Indian sea goddess who taught the use ofamulets.
