Palmer Edwin Lee (January 25, 1927 – October 31, 2015), known by hisstage nameGregg Palmer, was an American film and television actor.[4] He was known for playing Tom McLowery in the final season of the Americanwestern television seriesThe Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp.
Palmer was born inSan Francisco, California,[3] He served in theUnited States Army Air Corps as acryptographer inWorld War II.[5] He began his acting career in 1950 with the uncredited role of an ambulance driver[5] in the filmMy Friend Irma Goes West.[6]

Palmer guest-starred in numerous television programs, includingGunsmoke,Bonanza,Wagon Train,Kolchak: The Night Stalker,The Virginian,The Wild Wild West,Rawhide,Star Trek: The Original Series,Mannix,Mission: Impossible andDeath Valley Days.[5][6] He also appeared in films, includingBig Jake,Rio Lobo,Magnificent Obsession,To Hell and Back,The Shootist,The Rebel Set,Zombies of Mora Tau,[7]Taza, Son of Cochise,Francis Goes to West Point andThe Creature Walks Among Us.[3][6] He retired in 1982, his last credit being in the miniseriesThe Blue and the Gray.
Palmer died on October 31, 2015 inEncino, California, at the age of 88.[5][6]
