Greenside High School is a public co-educational high school inJohannesburg,Gauteng,South Africa.
Greenside High School (voted Best Public High School in Joburg) is situated in the suburb ofGreenside.[citation needed]
Greenside High School increased the size of its swimming pool in 2013/14. The main sport field is used forcricket,rugby,touch rugby,soccer, andathletics. Their hockey fields, which run adjacent toParkview Golf Club [nl], are mainly used forhockey, but have also been used for cricket, soccer and rugby. Greenside has fourbasketball courts which also double up asnetball courts. There are eighttennis courts.
The school competes in RAPS, FEDA, EADS, and (as of 2017) GRADS.[1] In 2013, students launched a production ofFame.
In 2017, students from the Greenside High Schoolrobotics team traveled toCosta Rica to take part in theWRO Global Robotics Tournament. Greenside High School was the only public school from South Africa to represent the country in this tournament.[2]
