Greenlake is a rurallocality in theLivingstone Shire,Queensland, Australia.[3] In the2021 census, Greenlake had "no people or a very low population".[1]
Greenlake is north-west ofYeppoon and north ofRockhampton.[2]
The northern part of the locality is relatively flat at 20 metres (66 ft) above sea level. It is used forplantation forestry.[2]
The rest of the locality varies in elevation from 20 to 159 metres (66 to 522 ft) and is predominantly used forgrazing on native vegetation.[2]
Mount Atherton is in the south-west of the locality (23°02′54″S150°32′44″E / 23.0484°S 150.5456°E /-23.0484; 150.5456 (Mount Atherton)) and at 159 metres (522 ft) above sea level is the highest point in the locality.[4][5]
The locality presumably takes its name from Green Lake, a lake in the west of the locality (23°01′00″S150°32′00″E / 23.0167°S 150.5333°E /-23.0167; 150.5333 (Green Lake (Queensland))).[6]
