The racial makeup of the city was 92.5%White, 1.4%African American, 3.5%Asian, 0.1%Pacific Islander, 0.3% fromother races, and 2.3% from two or more races.Hispanic orLatino of any race were 1.7% of the population.
There were 1,001 households, of which 29.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.0% weremarried couples living together, 10.0% had a female householder with no husband present, 4.9% had a male householder with no wife present, and 27.1% were non-families. 23.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.48 and the average family size was 2.92.
