The CDP is in northern Blair County, in the southern part ofSnyder Township. It is on the southeastern side of the valley of theLittle Juniata River, betweenInterstate 99 to the southeast and thePittsburgh Line of theNorfolk Southern Railway to the northwest. The community is 1 mile (1.6 km) southwest ofTyrone, reached via Thomastown Road.
