Thegrand prix de l'Imaginaire (French pronunciation:[ɡʁɑ̃pʁilimaʒinɛʁ],lit.'grand prize of the Imaginary', abbr.GPI), until 1992 thegrand prix de la science-fiction française, is a Frenchliterary award forspeculative fiction, established in 1972 by the writerJean-Pierre Fontana as part of thescience fiction convention ofClermont-Ferrand.

Initially purely ascience fiction award, the award's scope was widened to encompass all fields ofspeculative fiction in 1992. From 2000 to 2010 it was awarded as part of theUtopiales festival inNantes. It is now part of theÉtonnants Voyageurs festival ofSaint-Malo.
