Spanish film award
TheGoya Award for Best Supporting Actor (Spanish:Premio Goya a la mejor interpretación masculina de reparto) is an award presented annually by theAcademy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Spain. It is given in honor of an actor who has delivered an outstandingsupporting performance in a film.
Miguel Rellán was the first winner of this category for his performance as Alberto Goicoechea inDear Nanny.
ActorsJuan Diego,Eduard Fernández,Karra Elejalde,Emilio Gutiérrez Caba andLuis Zahera hold the record for most wins in this category with two victories each.Antonio de la Torre has received the most nominations for this award with seven, followed byJuan Diego andEduard Fernández, both with six each, andJuan Echanove with five.
