Theprime minister of Niue (officially thepremier of Niue prior to 3 September 2024)[a] isNiue'shead of government. They are elected by theNiue Assembly, and form aCabinet consisting of themselves and three other members of the Assembly.[1]

SirRobert Rex was continuously re-elected every three years from Niue'sassociated statehood in 1974 until his death in 1992.
