Godfrey James (16 April 1931 – 29 October 2019) was an English actor.[1][2]

In the 1970's British police dramaThe Sweeney, episodeBig Spender, James appeared ashard man Charley Smith, part of anorganized crime family who involve themselves with two dishonest employees of a car park company in an elaborate fraud.
