The series was announced in 2022.[1] The script had been written specifically withPiotr Witkowski andKonrad Eleryk in mind for the two lead roles.[2]
Prior to filming, the actors trained with theGROM Military Unit for three months.[3] The series was shot inOstrołęka and thePiotrkowska Tram Station inŁódź in mid-2023.[4][5]
