Gmina Głuszyca is an urban-ruralgmina (administrative district) inWałbrzych County,Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-westernPoland, on theCzech border. Its seat is the town ofGłuszyca, which lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) south-east ofWałbrzych, and 69 kilometres (43 mi) south-west of the regional capitalWrocław.
The gmina covers an area of 61.92 square kilometres (23.9 sq mi), and as of 2019 its total population is 8,631.
Gmina Głuszyca is bordered by the town ofJedlina-Zdrój and the gminas ofMieroszów,Nowa Ruda andWalim. It also borders theCzech Republic.
Apart from the town ofGłuszyca, the gmina contains the villages ofGłuszyca Górna,Grzmiąca,Kolce,Łomnica andSierpnica.
