Glux-en-Glenne (French pronunciation:[ɡlyɑ̃ɡlɛn]ⓘ) or simplyGlux is a ruralcommune in theNièvredepartment in centralFrance.[3] It is on the departmental border withSaône-et-Loire.
On 31 May 1944, amid the German occupation of France, theGestapo arrested Camille Barnet, abbot of Glux-en-Glenne and neighbouringSaint-Prix, accused of having supported theFrench Resistance in theMorvan. He was tortured to death until 9 June.[4]
As of 2022, the estimated population was 88.
