Glen Hanson is anopenlygay[1]Canadian-borncaricaturist andcartoonist, who works primarily inillustration andanimation. He is best known as co-creator of thecomic stripChelsea Boys withAllan Charles Neuwirth.
His illustrations have appeared in a variety of publications around the world includingBritish Vogue,GQ,Entertainment Weekly,The Wall Street Journal,Maxim, andVariety.
Hisanimation work can be seen on the television seriesBabar,Beetlejuice,Daria,Freaky Stories andSpy Groove (for which he received anAnnie Award in 2000).
Hanson studied animation at the Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning.
Hanson was awarded a certificate of excellence from theAmerican Institute of Graphic Arts for his work onBlink 182'sThe Mark, Tom and Travis Show album cover.
In 2009, he designed and directed the animated music video "Ghost Town" forUniversal Music recording artistsShiny Toy Guns.
