Glen Cove is astation along theOyster Bay Branch of theLong Island Rail Road. It is located between Pearsall Avenue and Norfolk Lane north of Duck Pond Road, in theCity of Glen Cove,Nassau County,New York.

No bus services are available at theGlen Cove station (unlike at the nearbyGlen Street station). However, local taxicabs do stop here.

History

The Glen Cove station, (néeNassau), was built in 1895, at the behest of the "Gold Coast" millionaires. These wealthy locals, such as theCharles Pratt andJ.P. Morgan, who were looking for a more dignified station to disembark at thanthe existing station on Glen Street.[4][5] The picturesque station has been featured in several movies, includingSabrina,Hello Again, and several commercials.[5][6]
