Glass House Point inJames City County, Virginia is the northern terminus of theJamestown Ferry, which was relocated there as part of the development ofJamestown for the celebration the 350th anniversary in 1957. The state-operatedferry service crosses theJames River toScotland inSurry County.
It is named for theJamestown Glasshouse, a popular exhibit at Jamestown operated by theNational Park Service.
