Giuseppe Marchioro (born 13 March 1936) is an Italian professional formerfootballer and manager.
As a footballer, he grew up inA.C. Milan youth team, winning aTorneo di Viareggio in 1957. Later, he played only in lower Italian categories. WithCatanzaro he reached aCoppa Italia final in 1966, scoring a goal in the last match againstFiorentina.[1]
Between 1968 and 1970 he attendedLiedholm andRadice during their work inMonza.[2]
He began to coach on 1970, trainingVerbania. In 1973, withAlessandria, he won the first edition ofCoppa Italia Semiprofessionisti (nowCoppa Italia Lega Pro). In 1975 hisComo was promoted inSerie A; next year ledCesena for the first time inUEFA Cup.
After a delusive first experience in a top club (Milan, season1976–77), he coached in lower series. In 1988, he signed forReggiana, which he led for few years fromSerie C1 to A.
He retired in 1997.
