Giovanni Varglien (Italian pronunciation:[dʒoˈvanniˈvarʎen]; 16 May 1911 – 16 October 1990), also known asVarglien II, was an Italianfootball manager and player fromFiume who played as amidfielder.
Varglien played the majority of his club football forJuventus in Italy, also playing one season with his hometown clubFiumana, as well asPalermo.
Varglien represented theItaly national football team on three occasions between 1936 and 1937.
Giovanni's older brotherMario Varglien, also played for Juventus at the same time and was aWorld Cup winner with Italy.
