Giovanni Angelo Gavagnin (15 September 1936 – 3 March 2013) was an Italian professionalbasketball player andcoach. In 2009, he was inducted into theItalian Basketball Hall of Fame.
During his proclub career, Gavagnin won the 1969–70 season'sFIBA Saporta Cup championship.
Gavagnin was a part of the seniorItalian national basketball teams that finished in fourth and fifth place at the1960 and1964 Summer Olympics, respectively.[1]
