Giaa Manek is anIndian actress known for working in Hindi television.[1] She is best known for her roles in television shows,Star Plus'sSaath Nibhaana Saathiya,SAB TV'sJeannie Aur Juju[2] andStar Bharat'sTera Mera Saath Rahe.[3] In 2012, she had participated in the dance reality showJhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5.[4] In 2014, she was also a part ofBox Cricket League Season 1.
Before venturing into the television industry, she played a minor role in the 2010Hindi comedy filmNa Ghar Ke Na Ghaat Ke.
Manek was born on 18 February 1986 inAhmedabad,Gujarat,India.[5][6] She is ofGujarati descent.[7]
Manek started her career in 2010, when she joined the cast ofSaath Nibhaana Saathiya as Gopi. She faced a scheduling difficulty in 2012 when she was offered a spot on the dance reality showJhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 onColors TV. Balancing the demands of the dance show with her ongoing role inSaath Nibhaana Saathiya proved challenging, ultimately leading to her decision to leave the soap opera.[8]
In 2012, she participated in a reality showJhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 and post the show was cast onJeannie Aur Juju as Jeannie. In 2019, she was temporarily cast onZee TV'sMahmohini as Gopika.[9] From 2021 to 2022, she is playing the role of Gopika Modi in the showTera Mera Saath Rahe, the reboot series ofSaath Nibhaana Saathiya.
