Gevindu Kumaratunga (born 30 November 1964) is aSri Lankan politician andMember of Parliament.[1]

Kumaratunga was born on 30 November 1964.[1] He is the grandson of writerKumaratunga Munidasa and secretary of the Cumaratunga Munidasa Foundation.[2][3] He is the owner of Visidunu Prakashakayo publishers and Kiyawana Nuwana bookshop inNugegoda.[4][5] He is chairman of Yuthukama Sanwada Kawaya, a group affiliated to theSri Lanka Podujana Peramuna.[6][7][8] Following the2020 parliamentary election he was appointed to theParliament of Sri Lanka as aNational List MP representing theSri Lanka People's Freedom Alliance.[9][10][11]
