Gerrard L. McGowan (died 17 August 1971) was an IrishLabour Party politician.[1]

As a child, he had to flee his home with his family when theBlack and Tans torched it in 1920.[1] A solicitor by profession, he was elected toDáil Éireann as a Labour PartyTeachta Dála (TD) for theDublin County constituency at the1937 general election.[2] He did not contest the1938 general election.[3] His nephewJim Glennon was aFianna Fáil TD.[4]
