George Smart Comrie (31 March 1885 – 15 April 1958) was a Scottish professionalfootballer who played in theScottish League forDundee as aleft half and was a member of the club's1909–10 Scottish Cup-winning team.[3][4] He also played in theSouthern League forMillwall and theFootball League forHuddersfield Town.[1][5]
Comrie's relativesJames,John andMalcolm were also footballers.[5][6][7] Comrie served as asergeant in theBlack Watch during theFirst World War and his son Daniel served with theScots Guards during theSecond World War.[8][9]
