Gaurav Gera (born 23 September 1973) is an Indian comedian and actor who works inHindi language films and television series.[3] He also worked in Bollywood musicalJhumroo.[4][5][6] He is well known for playing the role of Nandu inJassi Jaisi Koi Nahin.[7][8][9] Gaurav has been granted exclusiveSnapchat filters on multiple occasions to meet up with his fans’ demands.[10]

Gera started his career withLife Nahin Hai Laddoo onStar Plus and then he played the supporting role as Nandu inSony TV's showJassi Jaisi Koi Nahin.[11] He also appeared in various shows,Kohi Apna Sa,Baat Hamari Pakki Hai,Babban Bhai v/s Bimla Tai.[12] He also played the lead role inSab TV's showTota Weds Maina[13] andColors TV showMrs. Pammi Pyarelal.[14][15] He was last seen inColors TV's reality showComedy Nights with Kapil as Dulari.[16][17][18][19] In 2016, he made a cameo in the seriesNaagin as Chutki. He was also a participant onJhalak Dikhhla Jaa. In 2019 he appeared in the Alt Balaji showBoss - Baap of Special Services where he essayed the role of Jignesh.[20]

Gera made his Bollywood debut with the Hindi movieKyun...! Ho Gaya Na, where he played a cameo role.[21] In 2008, he playedVinay Pathak's younger brother Vivek inDasvidaniya.[22] He also gave cameo appearances inChalo Dilli,Woodstock Villa,MP3: Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar[23] In 2015, he starred inMSG: The Messenger as Bhondu.[24]
