Gauchin-Légal (French pronunciation:[ɡoʃɛ̃leɡal]; orGauchin-le-Gal) is acommune in thePas-de-Calaisdepartment in the Hauts-de-Franceregion of France[3] about 10 miles (16 km) south ofBéthune and 29 miles (47 km) southwest ofLille. A small stream, the ‘ruisseau Caucourt’, a tributary of the riverLawe, flows through the village.
