Gary Owen Darrell (born 10 January 1947) is a Bermudian retiredassociation football player and manager who played in theNorth American Soccer League.
Darrell began his professional career in Bermuda where he played for the Wellington Rovers andDevonshire Colts. In 1972, he signed with theMontreal Olympique of theNorth American Soccer League. In 1974, he moved to theWashington Diplomats where he played alongJohan Cruyff[1] among others and totaled seven seasons including someindoor.[2]
Darrell also played international football forBermuda[3] and managed the Bermuda national teams after his retirement as a player.[4]
