TheGarhwal Himalayas are mountain ranges located in theIndian state ofUttarakhand.[1][2][3]
This range is also a part of the HimalayanSivalik Hills, the outer most hills of the Himalaya located inHimachal Pradesh andUttarakhand.
The cities which are included in these ranges arePauri,Tehri,Uttarkashi,Rudraprayag,Chamoli, andChota Char Dham pilgrimage namelyGangotri,Yamunotri,Badrinath andKedarnath. Some of the sites of the location are the hill stations ofMussoorie,[4]Dhanaulti,Auli,Chakrata,Chopta. TheUNESCO World Heritage Site,Nanda Devi and Valley of Flowers National Parks, is also located in Garhwal Himalaya.
