Ganthem is a populated area, asocken (not to be confused withparish), on the Swedish island ofGotland.[3] It comprises the same area as theadministrative Ganthem District, established on 1 January 2016.[4]

Geography

Ganthem is situated in the central east part of Gotland.[5] ThemedievalGanthem Church is located in the socken.[6] As of 2019[update], Ganthem Church belongs to Dalhemparish in Romaklosterspastorat, along with the churches inDalhem,Hörsne andEkeby.[7][8]
