G. P. Venkidu (1935 – 23 September 2020)[1] was an Indian politician who was elected to theTamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from theGobichettipalayam constituency in the1996 elections. He was a candidate of theDravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) party.[2] He served until 2001. He died at a private hospital inCoimbatore aged 85 ofCOVID-19 during theCOVID-19 pandemic in India.[1]
