Fushun County (simplified Chinese:富顺县;traditional Chinese:富順縣;pinyin:Fùshùn Xiàn) is a county in the south-central part ofSichuan Province, China. It is the easternmostcounty-level division ofprefecture-level city ofZigong.
Fushun has a history over 1400 years. The county was built in 567BC during theSouthern and Northern Dynasties of China.[citation needed]
The county has a total area of 1,603 km2 (619 sq mi).
Fushun administers 3 subdistricts, 16 towns and 1 township:[2]
In 2006, the county had a population of 1,034,600.
