Fujie Eguchi (江口 冨士枝,Eguchi Fujie; 18 November 1932 inNagasaki – 28 May 2021[1]) was an internationaltable tennis player fromJapan.

Table tennis career

From 1954 to 1959 she won many medals in singles, doubles, and team events in theAsian Table Tennis Championships, and in theWorld Table Tennis Championships.[2]

The sixteen World Championship medals[3][4] included sixgold medals; one in the singles at the1957 World Table Tennis Championships, three in the team event and two in the mixed doubles withIchiro Ogimura.[5][6]

She also won threeEnglish Open titles.
