Frue Church orHetland Church (Norwegian:Frue kirke/Hetlandskirken) is aparish church of theChurch of Norway inStavanger Municipality inRogaland county,Norway. It is located in the borough ofStorhaug in the centre of thecity of Stavanger. It is one of the two churches for the St. Johannesparish which is part of theStavanger domprosti (arch-deanery) in theDiocese of Stavanger. The white, wooden church was built in thelong church style in 1854 using designs by thearchitectHans Hansen Kaas. The church seats about 700 people.[1][2]

The church was originally built as the main church for the old municipality ofHetland and it was known asHetland Church, but after it was merged into thecity of Stavanger, the church has been officially known as Frue Church, however the old name is still in use.
