TheFriesch Dagblad (Dutch pronunciation:[frizˈdɑɣblɑt]; the first word isspelledFries in modern Dutch) is a Dutch dailynewspaper founded in 1903. It covers the region ofFriesland with news reports written from aprotestant perspective.Friesch Dagblad and its competitor,Leeuwarder Courant, are owned by theMediahuis. Both newspapers publish most of the content inDutch, with only about 5% of content inWest Frisian.[2][3]
