Yehi made hisEvolve debut at Evolve 51 losing toLio Rush.[5] Yehi returned to Evolve in early 2016 in the Style Battle 2016 Tournament Round Robin Challenge losing toTracy Williams andMatt Riddle.[6] At Evolve 55 he lost toAnthony Nese in a four-way match.[7] At Evolve 56, Yehi joined Catch Point after a loss toDrew Gulak.[8] At Evolve 61, Yehi lost aWWECruiserweight Classic qualifying match toT. J. Perkins.[9][10] Yehi defeated Anthony Nese at Evolve 62 after applying a Koji Clutch after Nese attempted a450 Splash, this was Yehi's first win in Evolve.[11][12] At Evolve 65, Catch Point defeatJonathan Gresham, Darby Allin and Chris Dickinson.[13] At Evolve 73, Yehi and Tracy Williams became theEvolve tag team champions for the first time after defeatingChris Hero (replacement forDrew Galloway) andDUSTIN, Tony Nese and Drew Gulak, and The Gatekeepers.[14][15][16] Catch Point successfully defended the Evolve Tag Team titles at Evolve 74, defeating Peter Kaasa andRicochet.[17]
Yehi debuted forFull Impact Pro at Everything Burns in 2016 teaming with Gary Jay and defeating Aaron Solo and Jason Cade.[18] Yehi defeatedCaleb Konley at Accelerate 2016 to win theFIP World Heavyweight Championship.[19] Yehi successfully retained his championship by defeating Aaron Solow at Declaration Of Independence in July, 2016.[20][21] On December 10, 2017, Yehi lost the FIP World Title against Austin Theory at EVOLVE 97.
In 2018 Yehi debuted withMajor League Wrestling (MLW), a promotion owned by former WWE creative team member Court Bauer, which has a weekly televised programMLW Fusion on theBeIN Sports network. During his time, he was a member ofTeam Filthy.
In 2018, Yehi defeatedSimon Grimm in his debut for Black Label Pro.[22]
On September 26, 2020 onRing of HonorTelevision, Yehi made an appearance wrestlingSilas Young in theROH Pure Tournament and defeated Young and On October 17, 2020, Yehi wrestledTracy Williams in the tournament, but was defeated by Williams, Yehi was eliminated from the tournament. During year 2021 Fred Yehi stopped making appearance's in ROH assuming that that possibly might be a release.
