Frederick Greenhalge Sweetland (November 1893 – February 4, 1958) was a professionalfootball player. He played in theAmerican Professional Football Association (APFA) (which became theNational Football League in1922) with theAkron Pros and theNew York Brickley Giants. Brickley's New York Giants are not related to the modern-dayNew York Giants.
Prior to joining the NFL, Ray played college football atFordham University andWashington and Lee University.[1][2][3]
