Frederick Lee Davis (February 15, 1918 – March 10, 1995) was an American professionalfootball player who was adefensive lineman andoffensive tackle in theNational Football League (NFL) for theWashington Redskins andChicago Bears. A native ofLouisville, Kentucky, Davis playedcollege football for theAlabama Crimson Tide and was selected in the third round of the1941 NFL draft with the 25th overall pick.[1]
