Frank Mitchell Winters (born January 23, 1964) is an American former professionalfootball player who was acenter in theNational Football League (NFL) for theCleveland Browns,New York Giants,Kansas City Chiefs, and theGreen Bay Packers. He playedcollege football for theWestern Illinois Leathernecks.

Frank Mitchell Winters was born inHoboken, New Jersey. He lived inUnion City, and played football atEmerson High School.[1]

Winters playedAmerican football atWestern Illinois University and was selected in the tenth round of the1987 NFL draft.[2]

Winters was the Packers' starting center serving for eight straight seasons (1993–2000). He played in the Pro Bowl and also earned USA TodayAll-Pro honors in 1999. His nickname was "Frankie Baggadonuts" or "Old Bag of Donuts".[citation needed]

On July 18, 2008, Winters was inducted into theGreen Bay Packers Hall of Fame.[3]
