TheFranconian Rezat (German:Fränkische Rezat,pronounced[ˈfʁɛŋkɪʃəˈʁɛtsat]) is a 77-kilometre-long (48 mi)river in southernGermany.[4] It is the western, left source river of theRednitz.[5] It rises in theFranconian Heights nearOberdachstetten. It flows generally east through the townsLehrberg,Ansbach,Windsbach andSpalt. Together with the Swabian Rezat (Schwäbische Rezat), it forms the Rednitz inGeorgensgmünd.
