Franco Lautaro Costa (born 10 December 1991) is an Argentine professionalfootballer who plays as amidfielder forGreek Super League 2 clubIlioupoli.[1][2]

Career

Costa's career started withLuján,[3] prior to moving toArsenal de Sarandí in 2013.[1][2] In that same year, he was loaned out toPrimera B Metropolitana sideFlandria for six months.[1] He returned to Arsenal in 2015 and featured in eightArgentine Primera División fixtures, including his debut for the club in a 0–0 draw withLanús on 8 March.[1][4] He was subsequently, in July, sent out on loan once again, this time toTristán Suárez of Primera B Metropolitana. He scored six goals in thirteen games for Tristán Suárez.[1] In January 2017, Costa almost joinedChina League One clubNei Mongol Zhongyou.[5][6] However, the move fell through.[7]

Costa subsequently rejoined former side Flandria, now inPrimera B Nacional.[7] On 2 August, Costa left Flandria to joinSan Martín.[1][8] His debut came againstFerro Carril Oeste on 16 September in Primera B Nacional, it was also his 100th career league appearance.[1] Costa signed forParaguayan Primera División sideNacional in January 2019, having terminated his San Martín contract.[9]
