Francisco Andrés Sierralta Carvallo (born 6 May 1997) is a Chilean professionalfootballer who plays as acentre-back ordefensive midfielder forLigue 1 clubAuxerre and theChile national team. He started his career withUniversidad Católica in 2015 and played forItalian clubs in his career.

Club career

Sierralta began his career withUniversidad Católica and made his debut in the Chile Cup againstBarnechea on 8 July 2015. He made his league debut on 26 September, replacingMarco Medel in the final minutes againstHuachipato.[3][better source needed]

In August 2017, Sierralta signed forUdinese before moving toParma on loan later that year. With the latter club having achieved promotion to2018–19 Serie A, his loan was extended for another year on 7 August 2018.[4]

On 11 January 2020, Sierralta joinedSerie B clubEmpoli on loan until 30 June.[5][6]

On 9 September 2020, Sierralta joinedChampionship clubWatford on a three-year contract.[7] He scored his first goal for Watford in a 4–1 victory againstRotherham United on 16 March 2021.[8]

On 19 June 2025, Sierralta joinedLigue 1 clubAuxerre on a four-year contract.[9][10]

International career

Along withChile U20, Sierralta won theL'Alcúdia Tournament in 2015.[11] In 2018, he debuted for theChilean senior squad in a friendly match againstPoland.[12]
