Francis Goldsmith (by 1518 – 26 March 1586) of London andCrayford,Kent, was an English politician.
He was a servant ofHenry VIII'ssixth wife,Katherine Parr. He was aMember (MP) of theParliament of England forChippenham in 1547, forMitchell in October 1553, andHelston in 1559.[1] In 1551, he married Joan (d.1569), daughter of Clement Newce of Much Hadham in Hertfordshire.[1] His daughter Anne marriedWilliam Lewin.[2]
